First of all I would like to say that this techniques program was great value for me for 3 main reasons.
1. I was able to learn the fundamentals of picking the strings with good tone and attack.
2. I got a lot of information I did not know before and did not find from anywhere else.
3. Taking a program like this gave a schedule to work on daily basis.
Tomi's knowledge of classical technique and how it transitions to more versatile fingerstyle is something you want to look for if you want to learn play in higher and more relaxed level. I used to play with way too much tension in my hands and this program has helped me to relax and that means less mistakes while playing and more fun.
I did use the private email support just few times and Tomi's responses were helpful. I think every hand position is different and when someone experienced can see what can be improved, it really helps and literally saves months or even years of practice time. If you just adjust a very small thing like the way you sit down and hold the guitar or the angles of your hands. These things are very hard to see when you are self learning guitar player.
Great thing about this course is that you can do the workout routine unlimited times with lifetime access to the material. There is some very hard exercises even for more experienced players and even with slow tempos they take time to master.
I very much recommend this program to anyone who really wants to play cleaner, stronger and more musical guitar. And now when this new forum is out, it adds even more value when past group members can share their thoughts and ask questions from Tomi.
